7. Eastern View Cyclones

If I'm being honest, I am fully aware that I may be underestimating the Cyclones with this number 7 rating. Eastern View likely ended last season believing they were better than what their 4-5 record indicated. Close heart breaking losses to JM, and Spotsy likely deflated the spirits of a team that dealt with numerous interruptions and distractions to their season a year ago. To evaluate the Cyclones this season we should start with the defensive side of the ball, the Cyclones very well may have the most solid all around LB corps in the area, with Landon Taylor and stud young Sophomore Brett Clatterbaugh anchoring that group. Kanye Russell and Jayden Williams should also be solid members of that group. Offensively there are a few questions but returning Offensive Linemen Brayden Walker and Samet Abed are not one of those questions. When looking at their schedule a home matchup with Brooke Point appears to be their biggest non-district test while late season matchups with James Monroe and King George will likely be huge deciding factors in terms of playoff fortune/seeding. This is a team with plenty of Juniors and Seniors that will give any team they face a stiff competition. They may not be who they were from 2016-2019 but I'd expect this to be a "bounce back" year for the Cyclones.

Prediction: 8-2
