9. Eastern View Cyclones

It has been a very interesting 5-6 months for the Eastern View Cyclones. For some programs a .500 finish isn't considered a bad season or a disappointment. But for Eastern View? A program that had dominated both their regular season foes and the Battlefield District since 2017, the spring season was underwhelming for the Cyclones. Then, to add insult injury the programs only Head Coach ever, Greg Hatfield left the program to become Head Coach at one of the biggest programs in Virginia at Class 6 Battlefield. In comes new young Head Coach Brian Lowery. Though only 30 years old Lowery has almost a decade of coaching experience including 4 years of being an offensive coordinator at Kettle Run High School where his offenses averaged 30 Points per game in 3 out of the 4 years that he was there. There is reason for Cyclone supporters to believe in the coaching at Eastern View. There is also plenty of reason to believe in the talent the Cyclones have as well. The big and fast Raq Lawson will quickly make Friday nights miserable for opponents. And he'll do it running behind big Offensive linemen like Brayden Walker, and Samet Abed. Expected starting Quarterback Caden Huseby is 6'2 and can be mobile if needed. He will also have decent sized targets to look to like Jordan Colbert, Adarian Cook, and Josh Perez. And that's just the offensive side of the ball. Eastern View is never going to hurt for talent, right now they are in the unfamiliar land of the unknown but if history tells us anything about Eastern View, its that betting against the new look Cyclones would be a mistake.

Prediction: 8-2
