7. North Stafford Wolverines

Going to be completely honest with you, I was completely surprised to see how much the Wolverines struggled this Spring. But in hindsight maybe it shouldn't have been as surprising as it was. The Wolverines came into this Spring with a new QB, and had to find a way to replace players like, Javon Swinton, Holt Egan, Shawn Asbury, and CJ Van Buren. Trying to figure out to replace that much contribution in any season is difficult, doing that under the restrictions that came with the pandemic would make it almost impossible. This spring that showed that. Offensively the Wolverines never scored more than 16 points in a game, putting pressure on what was truly good defense this past spring. The Wolverines did end there season on a high note defeating the playoff aspiring Riverbend Bears in their last game of the season 14-7 thanks to their smothering defense but for the school off Garrisonville road a consolation prize is no prize at all. This program contends for titles, District, Regional, and State titles. This year the Wolverines have the right formula to return to Class 5s elite. The majority of that defense that kept games close last season returns and is a year older. Offensively the Wolverines have a new Offensive Coordinator who will have all kinds of weapons at his disposal in Power 5 D-1 commit Tevin White, Dino Jones and a transfer from Georgia at WR named Cliff Davis. With much of this North Stafford team returning and new names contributing during the season like freshman Zion Gray, one thing is for sure, the Wolverines will not be a fun team for opponents to play. Expect the same hard nose gritty defense that you saw last spring, with an offense that will be able to move the ball more efficiently. This may not be the 2018 Wolverines that could put up 40+ in the blink of an eye but we don't think playing this version will be any more fun for their commonwealth foes.

Record Prediction: 5-5
