Week 11 Top NINE

Disclaimer: This is a list for PUBLIC school teams in the area not private that way we avoid as many Strength of Schedule debates as possible.

THE TOP NINE

9. Massaponax Panthers (5-4)

With last week's win, the Panthers have put themselves in a great position to host a playoff game this post season. A big end of season match-up with Riverbend would give the Panthers the 3 seed with a win.

8. Riverbend Bears (5-4)

Riverbend has shown over the last 2 weeks that the Bears are still one of the better teams in the Commonwealth district. Amir Mateo continued to be an explosive weapon for the Bears offense as they rolled Brooke Point an important season finale this Friday.

7. Courtland Cougars (7-2)

Courtland picked up their 4th straight win in dominant fashion Friday, scoring at least 40 points for the third game in a row and winning by at least 35 points for the 4th game in a row.

6. Louisa Lions (8-1)

Louisa picked up a good win over a talented Albemarle team, which has boosted them to the 2 seed in the 5C region. Lions have a shot at the #1 seed in that region.

5. Eastern View Cyclones (8-1)

Eastern View scored early and often on the way to a dominant victory over Battlefield District opponent Chancellor. The Cyclones currently are not in position to host a playoff game but a win over Courtland has the potential to change that.

4. Colonial Forge Eagles (8-1)

With all of the scenarios in the region in the air for Region 6B it's looking likely that the Eagles have already wrapped up a home playoff game this postseason. A win against North Stafford and a Patriot win over Battlefield would give the Eagles the 3 seed.

3. Kettle Run Cougars (9-0)

34 straight regular season victories for the Cougars and now they'll be playing in one of the most anticipated games of the season against Brentsville District.

2. Mountain View Wildcats (9-0)

The Wildcats rolled over North Stafford and are now a win over Stafford from completing their first ever Undefeated season.

1. King George Foxes (9-0)

Foxes will look to remain healthy as they roll into the playoffs as the probable #1 seed.
