1. King George Foxes

In 2022 the King George Foxes had expectations as high as any program in the 540, they met those expectations and then some. The Foxes had their best season since 1995 (Reached the State Championship) and went 12-1. During this season the Foxes did amazing things like score 41 Points per game and defeat the Defending Class 4 Champions in the second round in a brutal region. It may be hard to believe but some of the main faces from that team return in 2023, and the Foxes will hope to go on another special run

Offensively the Foxes lost starting (QB) Zach Ferguson to graduation but former North Stafford QB Jack Pearson will make sure that a veteran leader is still at that postition. Pearson has thrown to some good receivers while he was at North but few have ever had the luxury of throwing to 2 D-1 Wide Receivers  like Pearson will throwing to Mekhai White and Chanz Wiggins. Charles Washington is one of the bigger RBs in the area at 6'2 215 Pounds and the Oline is full of Seniors and Juniors

Defensively the Foxes will have plenty of players going both ways which can be a double edged sword... But for this team it just gets their best talent on the field. Behind a huge D Line led by (DL) Alex Rolocut Charles Johnson and Jamari Cox will be tackling machines and in the secondary Chanz Wiggins and Mekhai White will make life difficult when teams have to go to the air on 3rd long.

The schedule for the Foxes is tough exciting one. After tonight's home opener they will invite the Historically great Hampton Crabbers week 2 then a surging Riverbend program week 3. After that they take on the Battlefield district, a district they have dominated the last 3 seasons. The sky is truly the limit for King George this year and it would be stunning to not see them contending for a State title in Class 4 once agai.

Record Projection: 10-0
