Week 2 Top 10

Week 1 is in the books! Our top 10 already has some major shake ups! It's going to be a fun season I can tell.

Disclaimer: This is a list for PUBLIC school teams in the area not private that way we avoid as many Strength of Schedule debates as possible.

THE TOP TEN

10. Orange County Hornets (1-0)

Welcome to the top 10! Very solid win for this Hornet team. Even in down years Courtland comes to play physical, Great dominant win over one of the more proud programs in the area!

9. Brooke Point Black Hawks (0-1)

What a deflating opening game loss for the Black-Hawks. It is hard to find any positives in a 62-3 loss. I try not to live in the moment however, Freedom is an extremely talented bunch who also has no problem in running up the score. But overall, this is a bad loss, we still think this team has a lot of talents but we recommend deleting the film from this game off Hudl

8. Kettle Run Cougars (1-0)

Kettle Run is already doing better than they did a year ago after there 27-14 win over a tough Heritage team. This is a talented bunch that I expect is going to win a lot of games this season.

7. Massaponax Panthers (1-0)

For all the questions about this years Panthers squad. On Friday they looked pretty good. Looks like Donovan Phillips is going to be used like Tyheem Kimble was a season ago he dominated Friday rushing for 133 yards on 17 carries. Defensively Massaponax absolutey dominated a young Chancellor team.

6. Eastern View Cyclones (1-0)

We truly should not be surprised with Friday nights result between Culpeper and Eastern View. But a 41-14 win over your crosstown rival is always impressive. Telling you, the potential is there for this team to make some noise this year

5. Louisa Lions (1-0)

Just your run of the mill early season blowout win for the Lions. Schedule gets a little testy over the next 2 weeks.

4. Colonial Forge (0-0)

Eagles were on a bye this week, they start one of the toughest regular season gauntlets on Thursday at Tuscarora

3. Riverbend Bears (1-0)

Good dominant victory for a team getting ready for an extremely tough test at Freedom

2. Mountain View Wildcats (1-0)

Mountain View was unable to get off the field against an opponent that was determined to keep the Wildcats offense off the field. The Wildcats still put up 33 and won by 20...

1. King George Foxes (1-0)

Traveling to Willamsburg and controlling the game against Lafayette is no small feat. The result was truly never in doubt as King George simply looked like the better team and like a team that deserves to be ranked number 1
