8. Louisa Lions

 

An undefeated regular season is nothing new to the Lions. A first round exit however certainly is a new feeling. But last spring was no ordinary season and King George was no ordinary first round opponent. Louisa had the misfortune of playing in one of the most difficult regions in a season with a condensed playoff bracket. Let us make no mistake, the Louisa Lions will once again be a contender in Class 4 the Louisa Lions were a very young team last year. This year the Lions are loaded with returning Juniors and Seniors looking to keeping the train rolling for the Lions. Jordan Smith (Sr.) and Landon Wilson (Jr.) will have a experienced line to run behind even if they are not the biggest. The only question for Louisa is will there scheduled opponents translate to playoff play. We are confident that the Lions will handle their opponents in the Jefferson district, but will it translate to a possible state that state title run loyal Lion fans have been waiting for?
