5. King George Foxes

Not many teams in this area have more to replace this season than the King George Foxes. While many were expecting the Foxes to take a step forward as a program this spring with the talent that they had on roster, very few expected the foxes to take as big as a leap as they did. King George arguably had there best season in recent memory as their air attack lead by Charles Mutter elevated them to being one of the areas elite last season. Really finding their stride in the latter half of the year where they averaged around 40 points per game in their last 6 played. The Foxes made it all the way to the state semifinals and if Charles Mutter doesn't go down for awhile after a early injury who knows what happens in that game. Make no mistake last season's Foxes were no Cinderella story, they were an absolute buzz saw. But with players like Mutter, Campbell and Cox graduating, how will the Foxes rebound this fall? Well there is still plenty of talent leftover for the foxes to make a run at a back to back district and region championship. Some of the more talented trio of defensive players will be suiting up once again for King George. Kyle Reviello, Mekhai White, and Maricio Blanco will all make Offensive Coordinators jobs difficult across the Battlefield district. There is plenty of talk of King George having to run the ball more, and they have the players to do that this season with Gabe Aley and Aydin Woolfolk rotating in the backfield. But let's not act as if King George doesn't still have weapons Chanz Wiggins and his 6'4 frame will be a nightmare for defenses to cover Mekhai White and Reviello will also fill in crucial roles on the offensive side of the ball and Zach Ferguson is a mobile QB that will look to make plays with his feet this season. One other important thing to notice is there are only 5 Seniors in starting roles on this roster, meaning you can expect this team to have growing pains but we expect them come on late at the end of this season this is NOT a team in rebuilding mode.  Zach Ferguson - Hudl

Record Prediction: 8-2
